Unique Dining – The Best Restaurants for families at Disney Springs

When it comes to the best restaurants at Disney Springs, it can be difficult for a family to choose where to eat with over 60 dining options available.

In fact some of the very best dining venues in the whole of Walt Disney World can be found here.  For our upcoming trip to Disney these restaurants have been highly recommended by our readers and across our social channels as the best and most unique places to dine when at Disney Springs in 2023.

Morimoto Asia

This contemporary high-end Asian restaurant led by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto has been recommended as a really cool place to dine with the family in Disney Springs.  Not only is the restaurant really stylish and elegant, the food here is spectacular. From sushi to Peking duck, the main meals here are delicious.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

We have had so many recommendations from our readers to revisit Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ when visiting Disney Springs.   This charming restaurant pays homage to Chef Art Smith’s Florida roots with a menu brimming with farm to fork Southern comfort food that really delivers that unique dining experience when in Disney.  Their iconic ” Country-Fried Steak” to the ” Chocolate Pecan Pie” desserts were some of our favourite Southern comfort food last time.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a must visit dining destination when at Disney Springs, we have had excellent reviews from other UK families who have recommended this restaurant to us.

It’s a steak and seafood restaurant in a nautical setting in keeping with its location on the waterfront, and lots of its tables have scenic views of the lake.

Another reason why we are so excited to visit the Boathouse is to ride around Lake Buena Vista in one of their vintage amphicars.

Paddlefish

Paddlefish is another iconic dining venue that has had lots of recommendations for us.  It’s one of the most recognisable restaurants in Disney Springs, boasting 360-degree waterfront views aboard a vintage yet luxurious steamboat. It’s not every day you get to dine onboard a boat so this looks a fun experience to have as a family.  The menu is extensive and whilst seafood is the main attraction, there are also mains such as steak, pork, chicken, and pasta.

Jaleo by José Andrés

Experience the vibrant flavours of Spain at Jaleo, a restaurant led by acclaimed Chef José Andrés. This lively eatery offers a tapas-style menu that is also widely considered to be one of the best Disney Springs restaurants.  Spain is one of our favourite holiday destinations and we love their cuisine so we can’t wait to try their tapas dishes, making it a must-visit for families seeking a taste of Mediterranean excellence.

Frontera Cocina

For one of the best Mexican restaurants in Disney, Frontera Cocina we have been told is a must visit.  This restaurant in the Town Center area of Disney Springs serves unique Mexican cuisine such as  pork belly tacos.

The Edison

This restaurant brings the glamour of the 20’s speakeasy-style restaurant and we can’t wait to try this out.   It’s known for its steampunk-inspired decor and excellent American cuisine.   What makes the Edison a little different is their live entertainment and an eclectic menu featuring dishes like the “DB ‘Clothesline Candied Bacon,'”

The Edison offers a unique fusion of history, art, and food that looks perfect for families seeking a stylish and immersive dining experience.
