Reima clothing is a brand that I knew very little about until I stumbled across some gorgeous looking clothes on the Reima website recently, which was their new range of Spring/Summer clothing.
I instantly knew that Reima would be perfect for the girls for our upcoming travels, and what a collection it is. Chloe and Holly are getting to the age where looking good is important to them and they love shopping as much as I do. There are certain pieces of clothing that are not only really practical but also turn heads, and Reima is one of those premium clothing brands.
Reima is a Finnish company that have been kitting out active kids since 1944 and continue to be pioneers in creating kids clothing that is not only stylish but is designed for whatever the weather or adventure.
Honestly, we can’t sing its praises highly enough and can now see why it is catching the eye of families in the UK.
As you might have noticed on our Instagram, we took our new Reima clothing with us on our recent travels to Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Texas USA and Edinburgh Scotland and the Reima clothing certainly turned heads as the girls enjoyed their travels.
Take a look….
Both Chloe and Holly were super excited to wear their new Reima swimwear in the gorgeous pools of La Cantera in San Antonio Texas. The Reima SunProof range is clothing that really steals the show because they are so stylish with bright colours and innovative fabrics.
Like the rest of Reima clothing it’s also so safe and practical with a built-in sun block with a natural UV protection factor of 50+ which was perfect for the warmer weather and for our time in the strong Texas sunshine. The material also dries quickly so it’s perfect for kids to stay comfortable in the sun as they have time away from the water.
Not only was the Pyynikki Dress gorgeous and a real head turner, it was perfect for the warm weather.
What was clever about the Pyynikki Dress part of the Reima Xylitol range of clothing was that its cool fabric has a finishing treatment that gives a cool sensation against the skin.
The actual temperature drop is from 1 to 3 °C, and is activated by the body moisture, after 10 minutes of use – how clever is that!
The Reima’s 2 in 1 Float down jackets immediately appealed to me, especially the eye catching colours that the jackets come in.
For warmer, yet still unpredictable, weather like we have here in the UK during Spring and Summer, these jackets provide the perfect extra layer for kids.
I thought the kids would like the zip off, detachable sleeves and a safe detachable hood and I was right. This meant during our visit to Edinburgh the float jacket could function as a down jacket on colder days, or as a padded vest for added warmth to the core on milder days.
What we also love about these jackets is that because they are so lightweight yet windproof and breathable with a ripstop outer material, they offer excellent protection from the elements but are also super easy to pack up and take with you.
The Rejse jackets were my personal favourite as it’s such a functional and durable piece of clothing for children.
The slightly fitted zip-up sweater is made from a new velour jersey, so it was lightweight, moisture wicking and really comfortable to wear. As a mid-layer it was perfect when the girls were taking part in activities at Bluestone and was also great for the plane journey to America.
We absolutely love the Reima clothing range for Summer. The range of clothes are perfect to keep children outdoors and having fun whilst also being stylish and cool – what kid doesn’t want to be cool.
We were sent these items for the purposes of our review but all opinions are our own.
